Kyle Wicklund - Certified home inspector

About Your Home Inspector

I became passionate about the construction industry at a young age, while working for my grandfather’s company building homes and commercial buildings. I attended the New England Institute of Technology in RI where I graduated with a Building Construction Technologies degree. I am AHIT certifired. In addition to my building experience, I have extensive knowledge of residential energy efficiency, and was a Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified energy auditor prior to becoming a licensed home inspector.

What We Inspect and Why

A home inspection is a visual examination of the home's major structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible. Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be obvious to you as a prospective buyer.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.
